The Daily Recap: Three keys for UGA against Florida

0

Here is the October 30 edition of the Daily Recap presented by JFQ Lending.

Three keys to victory

Anthony Dasher offered three keys to a victory in Georgia in Saturday’s annual rivalry game against Florida. These keys are:

The Slow Florida Racing Game: Statistically speaking, Florida have shown good balance in attack, but much of that success has come down to the Gators’ ability to lead the game. Slow down the run and the Bulldogs will push the Gators out of their comfort zone.

Get the first stops: See above. Forcing Florida into second and long, third and long situations will put more of the burden on Jones and Richardson to try and beat the Bulldogs in the air. This is exactly what Georgia wants the Gators to do.

Don’t hold back offensively: I don’t believe it is too much to suggest that we see both Stetson Bennett and JT Daniels play saturday. I believe they will. Whenever they do, look for the Bulldog to try and hit the Gators with a steady regimen of running and passing. Smart wants to score and score often.

Staff forecasts

After failing to cover for the first time this season against Kentucky, Patrick Garbin is deeply on the Bulldogs not only winning, but doing so by more than 14 points. Garbin, who was one of all the staff editors at Pick Georgia, featured his case for the cover.

“In the winter, I said this game was my ‘Georgia should cover the gap whatever the gap,” ”Garbin wrote. “Smart kirby is 6-1 in a row and ATS against a team he once lost to as a regular season opponent. And, whatever he said, the Bulldogs head coach certainly wants to rectify last season’s 16-point loss to the Gators. Also, I think there is some value in catching Georgia as a favorite with just two touchdowns, as most punters remember the Bulldogs routinely routed themselves in this game a few years ago. not that long. Georgia wins and a little more than expected.

Garbin predicted a 37-17 victory in Georgia.

3-2-1 Report

Radi Nabulsi wrote the all-important 3-2-1 report, which features his prediction for who starts in the quarterfinal against Florida. Nabulsi also provided an update on the situation with the receiver Georges pickens in his journey to return to the field.

Outlook that could be influenced by the UGA-Florida game

Adam Gorney has put together a list of rookies who could potentially be influenced by what goes on in Saturday’s game between the Bulldogs and Gators. Among these are the defensive end Victor burley (Warner Robins / Warner Robins, GA), running back Trevor Etienne (Jennings / Jennings, Louisiana) and offensive tackle Miles McVay (East St. Louis / East St. Louis, Ill.).

Georgia Cheat Sheet

Jed May has put together an updated UGA cheat sheet showing where things stand with each of the Priority Rookies. May offered the last on the receiver André Greene Jr. (St. Christopher’s / Richmond, Va.), The Bulldogs recruiting him hard after he recently missed Luther’s burden (East St. Louis / East St. Louis, Ill.).
